Animals helped by petitions

Dear Supporters,

We would like to thank you for taking the time to sign our petitions. Often, we are asked if petitions work. We’re here to tell you, “Yes, they do indeed work!”

Petitions raise awareness, and with the power of social media, these stories can go viral—making it impossible for authorities to ignore the public’s demanding voice.

We’ve included some of our favorite victories below to show you how your kindness has helped bring justice and hope to innocent animals, thanks to the time YOU took to sign.

Why this work matters

According to the HSUS, the most frequently reported cases of animal abuse involve dogs, cats, horses, and livestock, followed by wild animals.

Since our inception in 2019, Animal Victory has researched and published 347 petitions addressing animal abuse cases involving these and other animals.

Dogs and cats are particularly vulnerable to abuse because of their close bond with humans. As a result, Animal Victory dedicates the majority of its efforts to advocating for and safeguarding these beloved animals.

Where we focus

While our primary focus is on efforts within the U.S., where we have achieved the most success, we also write petitions for international cases when we believe we can make a meaningful impact.

Unlike others, we follow through

Animal Victory’s success relies on organizations and individuals working together to monitor cases from start to finish.

Most groups use petitions to raise awareness, often with unverified facts, and they rarely, if ever, update or maintain them. Seldom are there dates, signatures, or progress reports on their petitions.

Animal Victory stays engaged in cases for two to four years, consistently pushing for real punishment by tracking attorneys, prosecutors, and judges—while continually sending in new signatures and updates.

We follow through where others do not.

What your signature and support helps fund

Animal Victory allocates a portion of contributions from petition campaigns to provide rewards or donations. These are provided on a case-by-case basis to organizations or individuals involved with petitions or who have solicited services.

Keep the work moving (Monthly Victory Heroes)

Monthly Victory Heroes ensure we can research, petition, and promote breaking animal abuse cases without having to worry about fundraising first.

Monthly giving also helps Animal Victory focus on investigations and communications with authorities to seek maximum punishment—without the highs and lows of income.

Basically, Monthly Victory Heroes help sustain our work and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to our mission.

Please sign our petitions. This is how we do it.

Note: Petition updates are written in red font at the bottom of each petition.
