Greene County, MO – In January, a vile individual tortured a young dog in Greene County, Missouri. The grievously injured blue heeler was found by a passerby who contact Greene County deputies.
The authorities said that the year-old dog was found near Fellows Lake – she had been bound with zip ties around her legs and set on fire.
The manner in which this pup was abused is appalling…her abuser set her on fire, ensuring that she could not escape the flames by securing her legs with zip ties.
By sheer force of will and desperation to survive, the pup somehow managed to drag herself away from the flames, but it is unknown how long that took.
In a release to the public, the authorities recounted where the abused dog was discovered:
“The incident occurred in the 6500 block of N. Farm Road 197.”
On January 11, the authorities released heartbreaking news – the puppy did not survive the abuse.
The sheriff’s office writes:
It is with much sadness but we must inform you that this beautiful little puppy didnβt survive. She fought hard all day. Despite the best efforts of the hero citizen who found her and took immediate lifesaving action, and the caring treatment by the veterinary team, she passed away this evening.
