Indianapolis, Indiana – Krystal Cherika Scott, the 24-year-old Kokomo woman who was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in federal prison on Nov. 10, 2021, for making and distributing animal crush videos, is facing animal cruelty charges AGAIN.
Before proceeding, a brief explanation of animal crush videos:
Animal crush videos refer to disturbing recordings that depict the intentional torture, mutilation, or killing of animals, often for sexual gratification or shock value. These videos may involve animals being stomped, burned, impaled, or otherwise harmed in graphic and cruel ways.
While on parole for her prior gruesome, SADISTIC crimes, she was found with a U-Haul van full of dehydrated dogs and kittens, stowed with feces and urine, with no access to food or water. But it was not just neglected cats and dogs in the van…there was evidence of animals who had been tortured and killed.
According to the Affidavit of Captain William Carter, Humane Investigator for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, these were the body parts found on 6/27/2025 inside a white 2023 Ford Transit U-Haul with Arizona License Plate AM95046:
Krystal Scott, convicted animal killer
Scott is a dangerous, twisted individual who, according to a sentencing memorandum filed in her case, was the first person charged under a 2019 law that grants the federal government jurisdiction over extreme animal torture cases.
Although Animal Victory’s 2020 petition helped ensure that Scott faced the maximum sentence for her prior crimes related to her crush, she could not help herself and began collecting innocent animals once again. She is BANNED from having contact with animals through 2028 – that ban meant nothing to her. She set out to gather up innocent animals who were destined for cruel, inhumane deaths.
In reference to her prior torture cases, an FBI agent wrote that “her ‘bad side’ tells her to commit acts of animal cruelty, including killing animals by strangulation and other means.”
Angela Ganote, Fox 59 News reporter, provides grim details of one of Scott’s recent canine victims:
Through their investigation, officers determined Scott and the other two suspects had been living in a homeless camp. Witnesses at the homeless camp told investigators Scott and another woman injected a dog with insulin trying to kill it and when that didn’t work they both wrapped a metal rope around its neck and strangled it. He also claimed the dog was then skinned and its head removed.
IMPD nor IACS officers found the dog or the remains.
Krystal Scott is a cold-blooded animal killer. Please add your name to the petition as we fight ONCE again to put her away. This woman must NEVER be allowed to be around animals again.
WHY THIS PETITION MATTERS:
We, the undersigned, demand that Krystal Scott face the maximum sentence for her Level 6 felony (six months to 2.5 years in prison) as well as a lifetime ban on pet ownership! She is a convicted animal killer who appears to show zero ability to refrain from repeating her criminal behavior.
Scott has repeatedly demonstrated a disturbing disregard for life and the law. Her ongoing behavior shows a clear pattern of cruelty and deception, and she poses a continued threat to innocent animals. The justice system must respond with the harshest consequences to ensure she is no longer able to harm or exploit any living creature again. No plea deals – we want to see significant prison time rather than parole – she must be punished!
Research has consistently shown a strong link between animal cruelty and human violence. Individuals who commit such heinous acts against animals often pose a threat to society as a whole, as animal abuse is frequently a precursor to other violent crimes. Failing to hold this woman accountable not only denies justice to her innocent victims but also endangers the community at large. We must send a clear message that such cruelty will not be tolerated.
Individuals are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. Animal Victory relies upon the authorities and the court system to determine guilt or innocence.
Note: Krystal Scott remains in U.S. Marshal custody after failing the terms of her probation. She is due in court on July 29 at 1:30 PM, Case #49D26-2507-F6-020174. Surviving animals were taken to an area animal shelter for care.
