Sugar Land, Texas – A Texas man is facing a third-degree felony after he was captured on video viciously attacking a young puppy. The video footage shows 34-year-old Wo Zeng repeatedly slamming the puppy into a wood pile, kicking the pup, and then putting her into a hole in the ground and sitting on top of the hole to trap her inside.
The video footage is heart wrenching. The puppy can be heard screaming in terror and pain each time she is slammed into the wood and kicked.
Then, when the puppy is lowered into the ground, the cries grow frighteningly silent.
As the horrifying video spread on social media, outraged viewers bombarded the local authorities, demanding an investigation. In short order, an arrest was made.
If you are horror-struck by this vicious abuse, please add your name to the petition and help Animal Victory ensure that the case against Wo Zeng is not dismissed! This man is a menace to society and he must never be allowed to do anything like this again.
Video of beating posted on Facebook. Warning, disturbing!!
WHY THIS PETITION MATTERS:
We, the undersigned, demand justice for the innocent puppy who was viciously beaten by Wo Zeng. This man inflicted horrific pain on an innocent puppy and if not for the video evidence, he may have never been caught. Animal Victory and its supporters demand that Wo Zeng faces true repercussions for his abhorrent behavior. This man must be held accountable for what he did! We demand the maximum sentence for the third-degree felony animal cruelty charge and a lifetime ban from owning or residing with animals.
Research has consistently shown a strong link between animal cruelty and human violence. Individuals who commit such heinous acts against animals often pose a threat to society as a whole, as animal abuse is frequently a precursor to other violent crimes. Failing to hold this man accountable not only denies justice for the puppy abused at his hands but also endangers the community at large. It is imperative that we send a clear message that such cruelty will not be tolerated.
Individuals are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. Animal Victory relies upon the authorities and the court system to determine guilt or innocence.
Note: The Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the puppy had injuries consistent with what would be expected based on the video evidence. The puppy is being treated and is expected to recover.
