Long Island, New York – A licensed child therapist was arrested and charged with four felony counts of receipt and distribution of child pornography, specifically baby rape porn, in October 2024. On June 18, the accused, 37-year-old Renee Hoberman, aka Rina, pleaded guilty to the stomach-churning crime; shockingly, she has stated that she “got off” watching videos of babies being restrained and raped by grown men.

The videos showed infants between six months to one year of age being physically restrained and raped by an adult male as the infants cried and frantically screamed for the duration of the videos.

Hoberman’s twisted fetish went beyond watching and distributing the violent porn videos. According to investigators, Huberman pretended to be a father, harming his children while chatting with other offenders on the Kik messaging app.

Authorities say she shared illegal content involving children and engaged in graphic conversations while posing as an abusive man. WKBN reports that she “uploaded and sent two videos containing child sexual abuse material, claiming the videos depicted her own children.”

US Attorney Joseph Nocella Jr. said,

“The defendant, a licensed social worker, admitted to distributing extremely vile and unthinkable videos depicting the horrific sexual abuse of babies. The videos the defendant distributed and sought for her own perverse pleasure showed the most innocent members of our society being restrained and violently raped.”

Her disgusting behavior is especially troubling given her profession, which was specifically meant to help and protect children.

WHY THIS PETITION MATTERS: 

We, the undersigned, demand that Renee Hoberman face the maximum sentence for the crimes of receipt and distribution of child pornography. Hoberman is a vile predator who must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Children, especially babies and toddlers, are among the most defenseless members of our society. They rely entirely on the adults around them for protection, care, and safety. When someone in a position of trust, like a licensed child therapist, engages in behavior that contributes to the abuse and exploitation of children, it is not only a betrayal but a direct threat to public safety. Renee Huberman’s alleged actions demonstrate a deep and disturbing interest in harming the most vulnerable. She poses a clear danger and must be removed from society to ensure she can never again harm or exploit a child. 

Individuals are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. Child Victory relies upon the authorities and the court system to determine guilt or innocence.

Note: Hoberman is reported to have been working “mostly remote” for Lifestance Health in Melville at the time of the incidents. She remains in custody; no bail.

Sentencing is set for 11/18/2025 at 1:30 PM before Judge Joanna Seybert.
